Life's twists and turns
Brings scrapes and burns.
Life offers teachings taught
And lessons learned.
It's not about money spent
Or money earned.
It's about sacrifices and waiting your turn.
Friends come and friends will go.
People die and babies grow
We create highs to escape the lows
Life is life, not just a show.
Show me anger and I'll give you peace.
Control your soul it will set you free
Take the road less traveled
Through the trees, down the mountain into the sea.
Slow down the wind and appreciate the breeze
To walk on water you have to believe
Don't be the lock on your life.
Be the key.
